High Res Pics

All these pictures were taken on my good friend Naren's Olympus Digital 4MP camera. The ones of the sunset were taken from the very top of my building(10th floor). My friend Ravi called me up and asked me to take a few pics of the sunset as the view from his place was blocked by buildings. I rushed up and managed to take a few good shots. The photos of the sun are taken at maximum optical zoom. This is somewhat of a difficult job, as even the slightest shake results in a very blurred picture.

The pity is that even today's best camera simply cannot capture what one sees with the human eye. I guess unlike the camera, we have a 3D view of things, and we don't see things statically. Also, the emotions the view evokes makes the feeling more magical.

Still, here goes...

Silver Lining to the clouds 2

Some more photos. I hope this is not too tiresome for you. ;-) Oh, what I could do with a true 8 Mpixel Camera :-D... Drool Drool.

Silver Lining to the clouds 1

I've always been fascinated by the various shapes that clouds take. Nowadays, I get to see the beautiful sky from my balcony almost every day. Though all the following photos are not that sharp(I took them on my MotoRazr V3i), I felt that they were good enough to share with all of you. I think I've become a cloud specialist like that famous artist of old, Ruis Dael. :-)
